The Good Neighbour Project is now up and running. Our services are available to older people living in Tunbridge Wells and we offer short term befriending with practical help such as shopping, light housework or accompanying people to medical appointments.
We are looking for more committed Christians to be volunteers. Can you give a couple of hours each week to the project? If you are interested please ring Theresa Halliday on 01892 510200 who would be delighted to meet you for an informal chat and cup of coffee.

Dreaming of a Holy Night
Sunday 30th November
Assembly Halls
7:30pm
Graham Kendrick will perform songs from the Dreaming of a Holy Night album together with band and singers, a local volunteer choir and up and coming vocalist Philippa Hannah [the voice of Mary on the album].
Presented under atmospheric lighting and with evocative visuals, the music expresses a heartfelt longing for a different kind of world – where the peace and goodwill we associate with the best of the Christmas season becomes a reality for everyone.
With words from the Gospel accounts and echoes of traditional carols it explores history’s greatest story both from the inside – through some of its characters, and from the outside– looking back in awe at the incarnation, whilst longing for the fulfilment of what began on that holy night.
The aim is for a quality event that is both inspirational for Christians, and where their friends and guests can encounter the Nativity story in a fresh, creative and challenging way.
Tickets are now on sale through the Assembly Hall Box Office on 01892 530613 or at www.assemblyhalltheatre.co.uk
